Poethica is committed to have the minimum environmental impact, taking care for a safe and healthy working conditions throughout our local and distant supply chain.
Making our Clothes and Accessories, we seek to collaborate with suppliers who share a common feeling of sustainability and transparency on healthy working conditions. These suppliers meet standards for: social responsibility, safe & non-toxic products and conscientious attention to the waste, in all its forms.
We believe in a Sustainable style that means using resources respecting planet and other any forms of life. Taking charge in a long-term maintenance of responsibility for environmental and social issues.

Yarns, Fibers & Raw Materials
All our Natural Organic Fibers, comes from GOTS certified suppliers. Ahimsa Non Cruelty Silks Yarns, comes from Assam area in respect of the local culture and the ecosystem. Other Non cruelty knitted silk yarns like Eri, comes from a Social Company committed to a cultural preservation, adaptation, socio-economic stability, livelihood generation and environmental welfare.
IN ADDITION / Point by Point
All threads for seams comes from a company that adopted the Standard of “Detox for our Future” by Greenpeace. In addition to the OEKO TEX Standard. Dead-stock and vintage surplus fabrics used to propose Capsule Limited Editions. All Poethica logo Labels are produced with recycled fibers and stitched respecting the OEKO TEX Standards 100 Certification.
All Packaging, paper labels, greetings, business cards and major of the stationery are made from recycled papers and FSC Certified.
Made Where?
Currently over 90% of our cutting and sewing is done in Italy.
But we think this is less important to know HOW rather than WHERE.
That’s why our garments are Made Kindly and not "Made Somewhere".
Packaging Plastic Free
From the beginning we are Plastic Free.
All our packaging are made from vegetable compostable materials and recycled paper FSC Certified. Including our tape and hangers that are bio-based, non-toxic adhesives.
Donation Program 3.3
We chose to donate 3.3% from our profit on each purchase to support Foundations and Organizations committed to help, preserve or make awareness around environmental and social sustainability. We believe in some of them and we will invite our costumers to suggest many others.

GOTS® Standards
Committed to the development, implementation, verification, protection and promotion of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This standard stipulates requirements throughout the supply chain for both ecology and labour conditions in textile and apparel manufacturing using organically produced raw materials. Organic production is based on a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic, persistent pesticides and fertilizers. In addition, organic production relies on adequate animal husbandry and excludes genetic modification.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as accessory materials used.
